Spain's Moviles in deal with Oracle, HP 5/20/2002 6:31:46 AM Spain's Moviles (014411103) in deal with Oracle, HP MADRID, May 20 (Reuters) - Leading Spanish cellphone company Telefonica Moviles said on Monday it had reached a deal with Oracle (ORCL) and Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) to develop mobile phone solutions for corporate clients in Spain. Moviles said in a statement it would use Oracle's ERP/CRM applications, know as E-Business Suite, as well as Hewlett-Packard's HP-UX, HP-Proliant, HP iPaq and HP Services Terminals to provide mobile business solutions. A Moviles spokesman said the deal did not involve any payment. He said the company did not have figures on how many of its 17.3 million Spanish subscribers were corporate clients.
