Hi Steve; click my name and read the post before this one, now you may get away with shorts for a long time, but sooner or latter, if you short naked the day will come that you will call your broker to find out you got bought in at a price that cost you more than you ever dreamed it could. "buy stops" are no guarantee that you will be bought in "AT" that price..it will trigger "AT" the price..but may not execute untill ten jillion others in front of your order go through, and belive me some people have the pull it takes to move their orders to the front of the line in a panic, fund managers will almost always get preferd treatment. After hours trading can move the price way beyound you trigger point. IF you short naked long enough it is not a matter "IF" you get caught in a squeez..it's just a matter of time, and is a "when" were longs can hurt you real bad if your on margins, shorts can compleaty clean out your account in a matter of minutes.
