13:36 ET April Treasury budget surplus seen at $70B : The monthly Treasury budget numbers typically are a snoozer given that daily Treasury statements give a pretty good read on the monthly number, but the April data at 14 ET will get a bit more than usual attention as April is the key budget month for obvious reasons and estimates can be wide of the mark. The market expects a $70 bln surplus; it would need to be off by at least $10 bln in either direction to be noteworthy.
