Ted, Japan had already killed hundreds of thousands of women and children and was perfectly willing to kill hundreds of thousands more just before America dropped the bomb. Very few Asians debate the notion that Japan deserved it, being that Japan was the undisputed aggressor. Yet very few Asians ever supported the notion that Japan should be wiped off the map, either.

Ten, that was not the question. The question is do you think we were terrorists because we dropped A bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and fire bombed Tokyo?

As a consequence of those three actions, millions of Japanese civilians died. By your definition of terrorism, that would have made the US terrorists. Is that your belief?

Do you think Israel is the undisputed aggressor in their occupation of Palestine?

No, I have never said that.

If so, then they deserve the steady stream of suicide bombers striking them even as we speak.

I have never said the Israelis deserve the suicide bombers. I don't think anyone deserves to die in that way.

That's what scum like Hamas wants you to believe, and it seems they are succeeding.

I am not fooled by what Hamas says. It would appear that the major difference between our respective views of the Mideast is that I don't put 90% of the blame on the Palestinians. I believe that Israel must shoulder some of the blame. Furthermore, I think its critical that the US understand from where the Palestinians, including Hamas, are coming if we ever hope to assist in a successful peace process.

Based upon my understanding of the conflict and the conditions/actions that led to it, I can not go along with what seems to be the majority belief that by pounding the sh*t of the Palestinians that somehow that will get them to stop with their bombings, and peace will erupt upon the land. In other words, I don't see the current military action by Israel leading to peace.

Time will tell who is right.
