Did you see where 3 men of middle eastern descent were arrested and released in Easton, Connecticut video taping the resevoir and water treatment plant.
They apparently wanted to test out the camera because it was a pretty spot. Please. We need to stop worrying about what the rest of the world thinks about us and protect ourselves. If that involves racial profiling then so be it.



I believe they were released because officials found out that these 3 were from India. Do you really think these people would have been released if there was any doubt whether there is some terrorist link? Not in this post 9/11 environment.

What the hell.....they should start going after the Indians, hispanics, darker looking Greeks and Italians and anyone else that is "MIDDLE EASTERN LOOKING".
Yup, that should solve this problem.

Seriously:
The US is the superpower in the world and it probably deserves this title, imho.
However, a new policy of racism would be a disaster as the very foundation of equality and freedom would be destroyed, imho. Without this strong foundation, it is bound to fall from its great superpower status over time.

Just look around the world and you will see that the most tolerant societies have the highest standard of living; they are the safest countries as well.
