Palestinians humiliated by Israeli checkpoints -- same old, same old from the Guardian. But wait, did you see the sentence that is new and different coming from this left-wing source?

That, in microcosm, is the nub of the Palestinians' wider dilemma. They know the intifada is not working but disagree on the reasons: too much militancy say some, too little say the others.

That sentence never showed up before April. On the contrary, the articles talked about Palestinian sumud -- their resolve, defiance.

Perhaps the Palestinians are looking for other options now. Watch Hassam Abdel Khader -- the ex PA legislator who is talking like a leader of the opposition, someone who has not existed in the PA before now.
