Can't agree with you more. To further expand on my story, my firm was also a major underwriter at that time. The brokers and their customers had been burned by those underwritings from the prior bull market so they avoided them at all cost and they were therefore quite cheap. Most notable of those was Walmart. Nice buy then in retrospect.
