Could someone please clarify the point of whether or not Bob Brinker was in a buy or a sell mode when Black Monday II occurred? If a 22% drop can occur in one day while he's bullish, a "sell" signal is rather like a distress rocket fired from the Luisitania. It sank in 18 minutes The idea that he somehow might torpedo the market with his first bearish glint I'm still digesting. If he sells and it goes on to 20,000 he's finished, or at least banished to Garzerelliland. If he hesitates, Black Monday III might catch him off guard. Curious to watch it play out.
