Hello Thread,...does anyone know how to shut off those damn pop up adds (other than shutting off the computer..g)

also having trouble "shutting down" ....sometimes it works and sometimes not....I have the power settings set to "shut down computer when lid is closed"...but it rarely works. I am using msft ME on my Dell inspiron,....is that the problem?
