AMD expects model 2400+ and model 2600+ CPUs by the end of the year, and Intel should meet or exceed the performance of these at 2.67GHz and 2.8GHz. 3.06GHz would be icing on the cake, and maintain the lead they have now, which is significant. But I think the latter depends on how well Intel can execute. Re: "halving of INTC's mobile CPU prices two months ago" What does this have to do with whether Thoroughbred has been launched? Is it hard to believe that Intel shrunk prices in anticipation of an event that didn't happen? wbmw
