Yeah, B.S. created by a Marketing Manager. "Fabrication" is the Process of making the chips. A "side effect" of Fabricating Chips, is the number of defects on a wafer, called Defect Density. Defect Density determines die yield. So as far as I can tell, what he's saying, is that it's "fabricating" the wafer, which results in a certain number defects (Defect Density), that dominates Yield, not the number of defects that "fabriating" the wafer puts on the wafer (Defect Density).

Doesn't make sense.
