A "side effect" of Fabricating Chips, is the number of defects on a wafer, called Defect Density. Defect Density determines die yield. So as far as I can tell, what he's saying, is that it's "fabricating" the wafer, which results in a certain number defects (Defect Density), that dominates Yield, not the number of defects that "fabriating" the wafer puts on the wafer (Defect Density).> As I read it: It was an analyst from RS making the comment. He's saying the chips work but most aren't salable due to bad bin. But you could certainly be correct. tgptndr
