A fine infrastructure you have outlined, a bit more formalized than envisioned. I look to eliminate the systematic errors in the process first. Let's see what others say. As for being the "captain" ... titles are meaningless since people choose who they follow anyway.

On market dynamics people watch for different things depending on their trading styles. TT and I "position" trade and look for macro level dynamics in terms of breadth and specific stocks; Clint looks for micro level dynamics good for "yo-yo" trading. Different signals and if one does not interpret them properly, there will be conflicting reads.

On technicals including mf ... I prefer the raw data rather than any interpretation. Mf holds no mystique for me, and the key lies in interpreting or filtering the metrics based on the limitations. In recent cases like LU and ORCL, you asked why LU was so weak and I said it was very strong. ORCL again mf wasn't looking so good. Check now and confirm whether there has been accumulation sub-50 in previous weeks.

The optimal situation is when all signs confirm and there is consensus among TT, Kevin, you and myself. Kevin and I found over time that whenever we both agree the trade would be favorable unless an unpredictable, uncontrollable event occurs. Should there be conflicting reads, I shall not engage in debate and cloud my thinking. Rather each should just consider the various viewpoints and do what works for him or her.
