Dear Fundace,
There was an article in WSJ 7-10-97.
Ronald Sumner said "we believe that in the rising market,we'll
be able to recapitalize". "There are number of sucessful one mill
co., and we expect this to be one."
It also said RPP has the option of repaying the debenture $130 mil
by issuing common shares-- a potentially massive dilution for
stockholders. I doubt they'll issue a stock with stock price
this low. But this could be why price is down so much.
REPAP can postpone maturity till Jan. 1998 if they can negotiate with
holders.
