Mr. Bond: I read the johnny-comes-lately article in Barron's which contains NOTHING new to us. We all know that the problem is bigger than the US government wants to admit, that time is runnig out, that allocation of resources to Y2K is hurting other sectors, that there are programmer shortages, that there are.............. Nonetheless, the is the first positive article from them in the Y2K sector and the market prices move first last week PRIOR to the publication of this article. Price precedes fundamentals again! Technical rules again and again!!

Fred Hickey's picks (ISLI,SSW, EDS) are GOOD for us. Why? Let the public indulge in floundering pigs while us connoisseurs feast on MARS bars. And we all know what will happen: When pigs fly and shower the earthlings with you know what, we will be munching MARS bars and sipping the foam off the top in our cappuccinos on another planet.

Mr. Bond, it is nice to be way ahead of the maddening crowd, isn't it?

God save the Queen.

Regards,
Mad Monk

PS. Let there be fireworks!
