The Taliban was totally supported by America much the same as Saddam was. The slightest delving into this will prove that to your satisfaction.
Aid from America is virtually non existant , unless it's in the form of weapons to some Crushing Dictator who is bought and paid for by American Corporations. Of course the Tax payer foots the bill.
Perhaps this is the way the world works and has always worked, but if I were on the recieving end I might get nasty.
