Elmer Re...and partly because they only have 1 dinky fab making copper athlons.

Yes, isn't it amazing. AMD has one little dinky fab, and can produce enough to sell 20% of the market. Intel has 11 huge fabs selling 80% of the market and a few chipsets. That is what Dan has been trying to tell you.

Intel is ahead because they're ahead.

Translation. Intel is ahead until jHammer gets here, then P4 is dead meat again.

there's no evidence that .13u works much less SOI.<

Well then we had better get on the phone and call up Microsoft and tell them that those dual Opterons running 64 Net are fake.

Put your money where your mouth is, tell us your AMD position (not share amount). What did you buy in at?

Currently about 70% of my non IRA stocks are AMD. I had bought in at 8.5 after Sept. sold at 14.35, bought back in the day before MSFT announcement at 12. Trying to buy more at 11.

Are you writing any Calls? I'm making money on AMD even though I know it won't go anywhere because they don't have the technology.

Heavens no. I have a hard enough time making money just buying and selling regular stocks; and I know nothing about calls. I am the Schultz of calls.
