German people were the the most emotional and thoughtful of all the people I corresponded with right after 9/11. A genuine sadness. I don't know what to make of the size of the protests, or what to expect in France and Russia. I'll take a look at their press after dinner. Tomorrow should be interesting, to see what Junior and his handlers have to say. All of Europe is likely to be tough sledding. Bush sez, "Hey, come on! Let's go fight some terrorists!" The common Europeans say, "No, you pirate!" European government officials say, "More money, please! Here, have a scone!"
