This is the first bear market I've ever watched...

But what might convince me the trend has changed is successive higher highs, a stairstep pattern, and then bullflag pullbacks to EMA support, not crashes right through the things on every reversal <g>

And to see the indexes start breaking through the huge amount of overhead supply, regular breaks of resistance without a ton of sellers at every resistance area on the way up.

But most important of all, a healthy, minimum 6 week base. Something unseen in the nasdaq since 1998. A trading range that HOLDS.

I don't think we get the massive capitulation everyone is waiting for, I think it's the same old slow drip down that bear markets are famous for. May see some fear though soon if this downtrend continues. And it won't be over till the majority of investors have lost complete interest in buying stocks. And for dippers stop buying every dip! As it only prolongs this torture <g>

Some think this is the beginning of a new bull. I need to see it in the charts to be convinced!
