I am currently applying for H1-B - $130 basic fee+$1000 premium processing fee + $1700 lawyer + costs + c. $A300 at Sydney + trip to Sydney.... when I get to the US I will apply for immigration (LPR) as I am eligible as a tenure-track prof but that could take more than a year to process. Another topic I just realised isn't in Mansfield et al. is a discussion of monopsony (single buyer) and the minimum wage. I'll want to include that too. David
