it was a breakout.
the old high was a triple top at 9, in the
fall of '94 and then again in the spring of '95.
today's close broke through that.
when there's no overhead resistance, it's called a
bluesky breakout.
that's what we have here.

everything gold is moving with the price of gold.
i won't be surprised at all to see $320/$325 by Friday,
and $10+ on GLG.
(GDP numbers Friday before the open will matter)

if i remember reading correctly GLG has no debt, and no sales forward.
that's the important thing when it comes to picking the
miners. no hedging.

just hold on to your shares.
the POG ($318.80 in Asia as i type), and the market, will determine the value of the company for you. <g
