AOL cuts jobs in ad sales group

AOL Time Warner's America Online division has laid off 120
employees from its advertising sales unit, or about 17 percent
of the unit's staff, according to a source familiar with the
move. Half of the employees affected worked in America Online's
Dulles, Va., headquarters, the other half in its New York
offices. The interactive marketing unit, as it's called, will
still employ about 600 people, the source said.
