Goldman Sachs says that recent IT surveys confirm that Q2 is shaping up to be another very challenging qtr for tech co's, and that budgets for the rest of 2002 are not likely to change much from current levels; cuts 2002-03 ests for 26 software co's based on ongoing IT spending constraints and a likely slower pace of recovery for the industry going through 2003: ARBA, AUTN, Dassault, BOBJ, DCTM, FMKT, HNCS, HYSL, INFA, ITWO, MANU, MONE, PSFT, SAP, SEBL, Sage Group, VIGN, CHKP, ENTU, ISSX, QSFT, RATL, Software A.G., SYMC, VRSN, and WEBM.
