Last night on the radio I heard what I thought was a good recommendation from Senator Feinstein - a collective database for intelligence agencies, so that they could see what each agency has developed. She is on the Intelligence Committee and so receives similar briefings to those given the President, she says, but the information is probably collated in a different form.

It reminds me of the database the FTC has developed for internet fraud, Sentinel. Law enforcement agencies can access it to see if there are similar cases to ones they are investigating. After all, victims of internet fraud can happen anywhere.

ftc.gov

In light of the fact that terrorism can happen anywhere, any time, it makes sense to develop a database that law enforcement and intelligence can access to see if there are patterns developing.
