I hope they do rebuild sky scrapers on the site, whatever the design. And I trust the engineers and architects have learned from studying the disaster.

I've heard bits and pieces of hearings on CSPAN, engineers and architects testifying about everything from the connectors for the trusses to elevator shafts. Fascinating.

Interestingly, at the time the buildings were designed, they were designed to withstand being struck by the largest jet then being made.
