I'm not beating this particular administration, this is a problem for anyone in the Beltway, going back many decades, and into the future if it isn't stopped. These guys are just more egregious.
Those dollars are more fungible than the oil, but deny our enemies either, in every way we can, is the point. Rolling over and doing nothing is dumb. Inviting Saudis as royalty while terrorist dollars flow from their banks, is not advisable.
I guess the real point is declaring Saudis an enemy. You probably dont', or finesse that one, otherwise you might be more inclined towards dealing with them strongly.
True, I claim Americans would refuse Saudi oil, if given a chance. I may be wrong, but dont' think so. |
