The market seems to be anticipating a selloff, possibly based on external events such as a terrorist attacks or renewed tensions involving violent Muslims and their neighbors someplace (Israel? Kashmir? Someplace else?).

In the meantime, the Bush administration is falling all over itself in an effort to issue more and more shrill warnings of the apocalypse. They sound much like the proverbial doomsayer of the comic strip (I can't remember which strip) who always carried a sign saying "The World Will End Tomorrow". When it didn't end, he didn't have to change the sign, because the next tomorrow it really might happen.

With that in mind, let's take a thread poll <cut and paste your answer below>.

Will there be a major terrorist incident in the United States between now and July 4?

OMD No
