re: No, I don't believe it. And the reason is first off, it would be very difficult for them to defeat Israel. Israel is a superpower, at least in the Mideast. Her army and airforce are some the best in the world.
pays to read once in while, you know. The destruction of Israel was "official" goal of plo fatah up until very recently. It is still a goal of many other militants groups within plo as well as non-plo. It is likely to be still an unwritten goal of arafat.
