KT re reinsurance.

I've read a few books from the library on Lloyds of London and their troubles over the last decade or so. Also I am distantly related by one of my sisters who went "pig" and married for both love and money -g-

Fact is lots of those "names" bled oh so badly. Guys who should have been sued into the ground (because they knew the asbestos risks) got away, some perceived guys with money drew the attention of USA courts (and they were Brits anyway) that they could pay up to these horribly scarred people.

It strikes me too that the "reinsurance" biz is real loonie. Only a nutball would touch it.
