Hi MSI, From the shrill tone coming out of Cheney/Rice et al, it sure seems like they'll pull some "Saturday Night Massacre" in order to justify their existence and create a distraction. A suicide bomber on Times Square ought to do quite nicely to unite the nation, cowering behind our leader.... OTOH, you have to wonder if they might reconsider their strategy on Bin Laden. Catching or killing him convincingly would boost the Bush polls, which have been slipping more than the Mal-Administration feels comfortable with. Now that the budgets have been passed, OBL is probably worth more dead than alive. Or the calculus might be to take him out in October. That would be sweet timing. -R.
