I use a program called PopUp Killer. Works very well. I have been using ZoneAlarm Pro to kill ads but went back to ZA free. I was having problems with several sites which I visit regularly and problems with my roadrunner connection. Uninstalling ZA Pro seems to have cleared up all my computer woes.
