Thanks, Shack. The whole leg up thing sure SEEMS like it should happen. But 54 is about a 9% move up, and AMGN tends to lead the BTK. . . and that brings us right back towards the recent highs on the BTK (and, I'd think, upwards on the naz). I believe one of your scenarios has us bouncing up to the recent high, yes? So maybe that'll work. But then there's the whole max pain issue coming up. Is there time for a sharp rally here. . . a sharp decline and then another sharp rally? Mebbe. And, of course, a 10% move in AMGN, as we've all learned, can happen in one day, and then a new decline can commence.

We'll see, I guess. Durable goods orders and jobless claims in the morning at 8:30. Should set the tone.

the freep, a very durable good
