Historic decisions have been taken by Pakistan war may be averted.( based on my discussions today morning with my friends) President Mush has agreed to give ironclad guarantees to US (that US is demanding to request India to withdraw) for closing all camps in AK. He has categorically told insiders that Pakistan has to decide what it want a disaster or a liberal progressive Pakistan. The political and intelligentsia has given a green light to Mush to proceed this policy of closing all terrorist camps and stamping hard on terrorist activity According to people who talked to the President yesterday, he has told the people that this policy of hoodwinking in Kashmir will destroy our friendship and alliance with USA. The USA cannot be fooled although India could be told that they are freedom fighters but USA refuses to accept this as today’s’ Islamic freedom fighters can be tomorrow ‘alqaedas.’ President told the august gathering we need a break form the past and 10 years of this infiltration from AK has only resulted in isolation of our country, USA will assure normalising of relationships once infiltration and camps are closed and finally seized. My friends spoke up to the President and told him sir, you got to act and act firmly otherwise we have no future. When one of the famous extremist sympathisers Nizami asked the president why not to continue this support in hiding, the President retorted we cannot fool around with the USA, what you guys want, forward looking stable Pakistan or a destroyed Pakistan, my friends Najam stood up and lambasted the extremists lobby calling time vultures, the President said that iron clad guarantees shall be given to US and monitoring will be agreed, India is waiting for US response for ironclad guarantees. Once again everyone witnessed that change is visible, Pakistan realises that things have to change course and to the according to Mush he told the insiders that’ we will do what America has asked us; Armitage and Straw will be given guarantees. The powwow took place yesterday late in Islamabad. Nearly all the political leadership and intelligentsia hs supported the President to take historic decision to close a chapter that has not worked. <Pakistan's role in the game of "mischief-making in Kashmir" is there for all to see and the world will no longer be convinced that Islamabad does not support terrorists> that role is coming to an end..
