It has to be a very heavy thunder storm, a regular rain is never a problem... besides, the TV should not be on during those kinds of violent weather patterns...

The signal is all or none, for a brief moment, maybe a minute or two while the heaviest portion of the storm cloud passes, the picture goes completely out... but, it only happens a few times a year, it's not a frequent occurrence, certainly not an issue for me to make me go back to cable...

The signal is digital, so the signal is either completely there or not at all as during those infrequent storms... regular rains or normal cloud cover or overcast skies has never interfered with the signal.....
