did you know that nav now issues almost daily virus defs? if a user waits for liveupdate (regardless of whether that user has liveupdate configured to automatically obtain defs, or if that user attempts to obtain them manually), he or she will not be as current as if they use what symantec is calling their intelligent updater feature. i check it every day, and download and install new defs, all the while watching liveupdate just sit there saying that i have the most current defs and that there are no new ones. this link explains it better and also will take you directly to the download. securityresponse.symantec.com imo, not enough nav users are aware of this intelligent updater feature. i try to make folks aware, but..... hope this helps :) mark
