Bald Eagle, Re: One main question, though, if the Pentagon was involved, why would they let the Pentagon be attacked? Another good question would be, considering the obvious planning that al Queda did, why would they fly the jet into the least damaging location on the Pentagon, an area that was undergoing renovations and thus hardly occupied? Wouldn't a true enemy be inclined to use the months and years ahead of the event to find out how the building was organized and attack the head, Rumsfeld, or the Joint Chiefs instead of the most remote portion of the building?
