I'm glad that Datek made good to Vet's satisfaction.

Now, they need to work on making their initial responses more forthcoming.

The "customer is always wrong" attitude has to stop.

They are only going to lose their customer's confidence if they repeatedly make public statements that so-and-so is wrong, and then later have to apologize when it turns out they were, indeed, right.

On the NYSE issue - I received e-mail from another customer who wants to remain anonymous saying that his experience has been identical to mine - that he has NEVER seen his orders reflected in the quote, and that he has repeatedly had to cancel orders that were outstanding for as long as 1/2 hour without either being reflected in the quote or getting execution.

Datek still needs to come clean on NYSE and tell us what is really happening.

If they have now fixed it, I'd appreciate hearing from others who have observed their orders being relefected in the quote. I may try some "experimenting" again in a couple of weeks.

I do note that SPY seems to work fine, and wonder if there is something about "no uptick" instruments that forces orders to go to the floor, and bypasses whatever the delay is?
