Winners and Losers - short and long
I've been reading the notes for months now in the NSCP group
and come to one conclusion. Very litte information here is
valid and useful to an experienced investor. I'm sick of the
insistance that money is better made short on "hot" stocks like
NSCP. One should realize that the short-sell is entirely the
worst market play that can be done. 1. Shorts artificially
hold the stock price up due to profit taking and loss coverage.
2. The internet stocks all make money or soon will and making
money is what it is all about.. their are no experienced analysts
that cover these stocks and they are often wrong in their estimates
by 300% or more. It is so easy to justify a loss in the market
simply by allowing for the capitol investments needed to begin an
internet related company, but all these investments will be
depreciable and one time costs. The next quarter will show huge
profits compared to current losses. 3. I end with only these because
I don't want to insult the smart investors that read these messages,
but the fundamental investment rule is "dont go against a trend."

If you are interested in a good discussion of real stock issues as an
example of what this NSCP group should become, read the IOMG groups
messages. They discuss hard facts such as the earnings estimates compared
to the actual earnings even before the markets open. From these
discussions the investor can make REAL money based on REAL analysis,
not petty emotional spewings.

I feel I must say that I have been a student of NSCP. I've enjoyed the
ride (althoug horrifying at times) and made money and as a true investor
knows, the bottom line on investing is to make money. Lets try to keep
emotions out of these discussions.
