" Wasn't President Clinton the President of the United States (and the one responsible for the U.S. strategy of buying Iraqi oil) - when Cheney was with Halliburton?"

Clinton isnt' the guy who is planning an invasion of Iraq to restore his father's honor. Clinton went along with the UN resolution that allowed Saddam to sell oil for food and medicine. But it was the Bushies who labeled Saddam the head of the axis of evil and are beating the war drums constantly as a prelude to invasion. It is Bush who says Saddam is selling weapons of mass destruction to terrorists and waging a "war" on terrorism while continuing to buy Saddam's oil. All of this while beating his chest in front of the American-Cubans in Florida and increasing sanctions on Fidel.....what a phoney. My question is , do you think Bush should be supporting Saddam's alleged support of terrorists by buying his oil????
