You're the one buying the stock. ATM I have 0 position in AMD. Yes, and i've read your "book value as floor, I'm collecting CC premiums" hypothesis. But you claim that AMD's manufacturing technology is "old". and they can't keep up on the process and technology side. You of all folks must know that the value carried on the books can be vastly different from "fire sale" value on the second hand junk market.

I'm counting on Flash and hype to carry AMD. Look how well the hype works here. There are lots of people who are convinced on nothing but hype. It's pretty obvious that there are a lot of people who will believe absolutely anything Jerry says.

It's really not all that complicated. Look at the 20 year chart. I expect the pattern to continue well into the future. There are no guarantees but I think the risk is manageable.

You entire story on your current position and your opinion on AMD's competitive position vis-a-vis process and tech does not pass the "sanity" test.

It certainly does when you consider the 2 cornerstones;

#1 Flash could carry AMD and:
#2 There is no lie that Jerry won't tell to deceive the believers, and there is nothing AMDroids won't believe if it comes from Jerry's lips.

And what if I'm wrong and Hammer is a success?

If everything goes the wrong way for AMD, then Intel will have the market all to themselves and my INTC will do just fine...
