With the ban on poultry to Russia look for lower prices on all meats.Hogs will suffer most but beef will start to drop really hard to compete with lower poultry prices. Maybe the poultry companies will make their products better and stop labeling 4-5-6 lb. chickens as fryers? 3 lb used to be the top weight for a fryer but with all the hormones their success is actually destroying their market. Chickens are grown so large in a short period that the only use is for grinding and selling as Mcnuggets. Unfortunately most households dont have grinders so they just dont buy chicken for home cooking.
