JW, did the survey indicate what types of vacations those planning them would take. I believe we will see a return to the traditional American vacaction (ie. driving to national parks and camping) and a move away from international travel and travel to upscale resorts. You just wonder how much evidence people need to see before they dismiss the recovery and realize the consumer has done all he can. This is phase one. Defaults and bankruptcy are next along with asset deflation. With all the pumping Uncle Al is doing he can only keep the stock market treading water. I think the smart money realizes he has to do this. Therefore the move in gold and silver. This is going to be an interesting summer.
