JBinPA: When the big boyz get caught, for the most part they only pay small fines. While 100 million may seem like a lot to the common man, it is just a small percentage of their ill begotten gains. It is nothing more than a payoff to the authorities to continue to look the other way.

When we see the RICO statues executed vigorously with regards to the on going fraud, collusion and manipulation perpetrated by the big houses on the investing public, then and only then will the markets have a chance at being legitimate. Of course, that's not ever going to happen.

While Tony's assets are being impounded, I’ve not seen a single picture of a car being hosted onto a tow truck of any executive working for one of the big houses related to the recent revelations made public by the NY Attorney General. The reality is that the houses are just forced occasionally by the government to cough up just a small portion of their ill be gotten gains as payoff, then the government resumes it policy of looking the other way as the houses go back to business as usual.

If bank robbers were allowed to do this, can you imagine the crescendo in the number of banks being robbed?

Regards,
LG

PS: Something I realized in the mid eighties, if you're going to trade and or invest in the markets you need to "Think Like A Criminal", just do not act like one.
