Richard, PRST to coin a loose saying is a wild ride. Referance to charts "take you pick" the general trending April 19 more or less to present is the same for most tech. Highs or lows may differ but trend is consistant.
I have downloaded several and done layered models which remain consistant with trackable variances. PRST influence which is no revelation has been Cabot. Players have done well in many camps the shame is that it has had the potential to destroy this company, now the potential may turn "Probable" another shame. P&E on PRST has always been a "twirk" <<<southern comment>>> (ps. yes I'm from the South) but when I was speculating the background on company appeared within a defendable gamble.
I still think the long term would of been a good portfolio add but now the legals have arose. This is a major concern and company strength is all that will save. If the co. can stave out a chapter or bankrupcy ...who knows... I've rode the ride this far...its a close call. I was about to run one more chart analyst but feel that under the legal cloud it could not factor that issue.
__________Now for USRX.....I like this company and thats about the beginning and end of my real stratagy. Its sound and has its grounding with many major players, Bell, IBM, 'Not to mention many PC companies' as modem provider. Its reputation speaks for itself and many if not most system analyst will tell you (2) things, "Hayes Compatible" --US Robotics brands.
Regardless of the nea sayers, this company is here and will be here for quite a while. The tech. of the company has several other development areas and with the net explosion USRX is developing presently with several communication providers, AT&T,Bell, ++, on the next generation links. I've followed several news and stats. and I feel safe enough to recommend to mom... <<you know about the South and their defense of their mom's>>
Thought I'd ad a little humor and punn. This PRST dicussion group can really depress you sometimes. Stress factor 101.
P.S. --thought-- I was speaking to a friend of mine 2 wks. ago(clinical psycoligist) who made an interesting comment re: STRESS
"He said everyone needed a little Stress, because the opposite of Stress was boredom." Need I say, I am not bored.
Background note: I was a governmental anaylist for IBM as well as finacial statitician. Too hectic during the great IBM restructure and all were under the gun to sell under the new PC competition. Got out and now CFO and Administrator for governmental entity. "Still do computer analyst work 'some' but trying to kick the habit." Mostly number crunching now.
Nice talking. Will send you some company stats. and ideas sometimes. |
