No. I'm just one of about 80 gold recyclers here in the "good old USA." My mentor and associate cleared 13 mil last year as a gold recycler. Owns his own bank. You can check him out in the ABA listings if you are so inclined. Don't get much better in this business than Jim.

Au contraire...between 9 and 18 million ounces of gold are DISCARDED annually, globally. The reason why it is so profitable and such a low cost business is because it IS discarded. And the platinum/palladium/silver/copper/nickel/tantalum credits usually take it to negative gold cost acquisition, and refining costs, even self refined make up the bulk of the $20 per oz cost for 24K throughput.
