Reynoso,

Hammer sales in October will be great for AMD.
However, won't Hammer sales come at the expense of Athlon sales?

If AMD becomes supply limited, than yes. TO get additional ClawHammer, a little more than 1 Tbred or Barton will have to be sacrificed, but the ASP difference should make it a highly profitable substitution. But it will not really work that way, since Hammer uses SOI process, and Tbred / Barton use bulk silicon. AMD will just gradually move more amd more production to SOI, and if there is unmet demand for Tbred / Barton, UMC should supplement.
