| Thousands of Chinese enter the country illegally every year. The primary destination is New York City, which has the most extensive Chinatown in the country, and hundreds of sweatshops. All of this is known, and yet few of the ships that bring them are stopped, and few illegals are rounded up after entering the "underground". Similarly, not only Mexicans but those from other Central American countries enter illegally constantly, to find work. Illegals from Europe tend to enter through Canada, and some of the hijackers also used that route. No only that, but all kinds of contraband, from drugs to arms, enter our nations ports all the time. It would be very easy to smuggle in terrorists, provide them with explosives, and send them to their mission. One hopes it is getting harder, but there is no reason to believe that we are immune from such attacks....... |
