That sounds about how they talk over there. Come to Texas? Why in hell would anybody in their right mind do that if they didn't have to? OTOH, let me likewise extend the kind invitation, if you're in Sacramento, go to Louie's on Mather anytime after 7pm on Fridays and ask Pat the bartender for MSI, he'll point me out.
