-->Rumor is floating around that microsoft is looking into buying out general magic. Was told they want the contract with at&t....anyone have any information? This would sure make the stock value skyrocket. Sure hope it's true!!!<-- There have been rumors for a short time now about a takeover by MSFT or SUNW (comment by SUNW representatives and former SUNW employee(s) at GMGC). I don't know anything about this one dealing with the AT&T contract. However, the stock has held steady at a bottom of $5.5 while the Nasdaq has plunged 100 or so. For a company without any earnings YET, and given the nervousness of this market and the supposed "flight to quality," I find this odd. Therefore, I think that someone knows something. It may not be a takeover, but it's something. We'll see in a short time I think. BTW, where did you get the "rumor" info on MSFT?
