Somewhat unrelated to this article-

June may mark the start of the summer slowdown in corporate spending, and economic problems are so dire among telecommunications carriers and network service providers that their network spending remains limited to maintaining existing systems, according to the report by Pacific Growth Equities.

This "summer slowdown in corporate spending" I believe is going the way of the santa claus rally. There used to be a summer slowdown in corporate spending, sure, but that was when you had meaningful corporate spending, which we don't have now. Also I'm wary because I've seen this conventional wisdom everywhere, along with the much anticipated summer decline in tech stocks - I predict we'll see the opposite, or nothing.
